CHARISMA
#1STANDING IN
THE SHADOWS by Faris Vincent. Sequel to
ST:TMP
Kirk's vision went black, his ears rang, his knees gave way and he
nearly fell, held upright only by Spock's strength. All sensation
was focused on the hot, moistness tenderly invading his mouth;
Spock, kissing him. Realization hit him like a fist to the stomach
and he pushed himself away...
PARTITIONS by Callie St John.
Sequel to ALL OUR YESTERDAYS
He broke into action, taking the stairs several at a time and bust
into the dimly lit hallway just in time to see two burly humanoids
trying to wrestle the resisting Kirk back into the cover of a room.
Spock's hand gripped one of the men's large shoulders and tightened.
The man slumped to the floor. The other neck-chopped Kirk who
immediately sank to the floor.
THE MORTAL FIRE by Natasha Solten. Sequel to WHAT ARE LITTLE GIRLS MADE
OF?
"Spock, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" He came around to Spock's side
and could see the dampness shining on the angular face. His stomach
threatened to fold in on itself. He approached the open box, long,
narrow, like a coffin, and his throat went dry as he realized that
something terrible lay within it.
FRAGILE BARRIERS by Andrea Arat
"I don't think this is a very equal relationship, Spock." "Jim, you
are everything to me." Kirk winced. "But your wife..." "Hush."
Spock's lips were on his. When the pressure moved back, Kirk said,
"I want to be even that for you. Don't you understand?" Though he
kept his eyelids tightly shut, it didn't help. He felt the cool
moisture of his despair seep down the sides of his temples and into
his hair.
TO PROTECT AND TO SERVE by Alexis Fegan
Black
He unfastened the civilian jeans carefully, sensually, and continued
his journey downward until he encountered his own burning flesh. But
just as he began to stroke himself, his hips rocking in rhythm to
the motion of his hand, he was torn back to reality by a muffled
sound which came from the vicinity of the bed. His eyes sprang open.
On the bed, almost obscured by the shadows, was a man...

#9FAMILIAR FRIEND a

Parrish

THE WEAKNESS by Patricia
Laurie Stevens (Contest winner!)
This is the long awaited completion of "The Weakness" by Alexis
Fegan Black, a story-looking-for-an-ending (see CHARISMA #7). The
winner of the contest, Stevens, has given us a view of the "Mirror"
Kirk and Spock which is, more often than not, shocking, but also
quite entertaining. Master Spock expects nothing but perfection and
obedience from his slaves, and Kirk, now under Spock's control, has
a lot of humiliating (but also pleasurable) lessons to learn.

CHARISMA #10

BAILOUT by Jane Mailander
"As of now, Leonard's Bail Bonds is closed!" "Look, Bones," Jim said
placatingly. "If it's about that business in the park--" "Damn it,
there are laws against that sort of thing!" "Bones, we're in love."
Jim tried his charm-'em-out-of-the-trees smile. He received a
blue-eyes glare... "Look at that incident on Paliott six months ago,
on the beach." "But, Bones, that beach was so beautiful." Jim's hand
moved to cover Spock's instinctively. "For God's sake, you didn't
even notice that family picnicking ten feet away! Not till they
noticed you two." -- Why do Kirk and Spock keep getting arrested on
shore leave? This amusing little story reveals all.
CHAINS a short novel by Anna Parrish
The three moons came out as the seekers left, and Kirk moved towards
the flyer. The night was now bright enough to see the hairs on his
own arm. A noise caught his attention and Kirk whirled to see a
Vulcan standing not more than ten feet away. The alien was
half-naked; his wrists and legs were chained to a belt that held the
breech cloth that covered his groin. His hair was long, Vulcan
black, and dripping from the short storm that had passed moments
before. They stared at each other for a moment, the frightened,
angry Vulcan the stunned human, and then the Vulcan lost his
balance, feel to his knees -- In this alternate universe story,
Spock and Kirk face the dangerous world of slavery, and the abuse
and terror that comes with it.
THE GLORY OF LOVE a novella by Patricia
Laurie Stephens
The lift opened onto the Ambassador's apartment and suddenly the
three men were slammed back against the wall, deaf and blinded by an
enormous flash of light and sound. By some miracle the doors closed
before flames could reach them. Spock scrambled back to the doors,
prying at them with all his strength, but the unit had already begun
its descent. Muffled screams and shouts could be heard from far away
as Spock's knees buckled and all color drained from his face. McCoy
and Kirk supported him on either side and urged him outside when the
doors opened. Emergency Services were pouring onto the block and
they had to push through the collecting crowd. "They are dead,"
Spock murmured. "My parents are dead."

#11IMAGE IN
THE MIRROR by Anna Parrish
"Mirror" Kirk and Spock are seen in an interesting light, and their
relationship, though very different from that of "our" Kirk and
Spock, does involve an interesting form of love. This is an unique,
freshly-written story that maintains the unusual characterization of
the "mirror" couple, while at the same time portraying a sensitive
and erotic feel.
VULCAN DILEMMA by Jean Gabriel
Kirk and Spock wish to formalize their bonding on Vulcan. But will
high-ranking Vulcan officials, including Sarek and T'Pau, stand in
their way? Can their untraditional relationship be accepted by a
world that shrouds itself in custom and ritual, that frowns upon the
very emotion that keeps Kirk and Spock by each other's side?
FARMBOY by Natasha Solten
Nineteen-year-old Jim Kirk finds life on the farm beyond boring.
He'd rather be travelling through the stars at warp nine discovering
new worlds and battling the Federation's enemies. Though he has been
accepted to Starfleet Academy, his mother and uncle cannot afford to
send him there for yet another year. Life does indeed look pretty
grin until Awaj Miller (of Miller's Trading Post/used 'Droid Sale
Lot/Slave Auction Block) sells Kirk's uncle a Vulcan slave that
changes Kirk's outlook on the future forever.
TWO OF A KIND a novelette by
Natasha Solten
In this alternate look at Kirk's visit to the "Mirror" universe, our
captain has an encounter with the bearded Spock that stuns him to
the core. Unaware that Kirk is not who he seems to be, Spock treats
him accordingly in his private chambers (with a whip!) until a
panicked Kirk reveals his true nature, and who he really is. This
story follows Kirk from that unusual encounter all the way back to
the ENTERPRISE where he must face off with his own first officer,
and admit to the strange dichotomy of feelings that have so recently
overcome him.

The man had been through too much too quickly to remain unaffected.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR by Wanda
Butler
Kirk and Spock decided to co-couple with a Vulcan couple
(co-coupling means a formal arrangement for guardians for
perspective children) and the resulting ceremony and celebration
affects other members of the crew in various amorous ways.
LUNCH by Georgina Brooke
Kirk invites Spock to join him for lunch on the planet below. But
just what Kirk intends to serve Spock for lunch is rather... uh...
erotic, to say the least. A real delectable treat!
MELD by Patti Byther
Just what thoughts were passed between Spock and Valeris during the
'forced meld' in ST 6? This story reveals all.
BREAKING REGULATIONS by J.S.
Cavalcante
Starfleet still has a long way to go in 'modern' thinking, and Kirk
and Spock discuss what they intend to do, should their rather
unorthodox relationship ever become public. At this point in time,
Starfleet still has yet to allow female starship captains; and
relationships between members of chain of command, as well as
same-sex relationships, are against regulations.
SONG OF THE MISCREANT an epic

#17PRIMAL SCREAM by
Jenna Sinclair
Kirk closed his eyes. Right now, the only thought running through
his mind was, I can't die now. Here, in the bathroom he shared with
his first officer, naked, his skin scorched red? That would really
be a fitting conclusion to this completely exasperating day.
EDITORIAL JUDGMENT by Martha
Selena Brown
The Vulcan's voice was barely above a whisper. "I have come -- I am
here for -- I want to apply for a rape." The typist turned her head,
missed an entire line, and had to go back. The collator's hands
stopped their motion, and she smirked lecherously. But it was the
editor who decided, her eyes already back on her manuscript. "Wrong
office," she said.
MASTER OF THE HEART by Jackie
Meadows
Kirk sat slowly. "What am I going to do with this, Bones? What am I
going to with him?" Kirk reached out his hand and raised the young
slave's head and gulped in a deep, steadying breath. The slave was
perfection, lean, olive complected with the elegant pointed ears and
slanted eyebrows of the Vulcan people, but his eyes... his eyes were
a deep chocolate brown with a look in them that Kirk could only
interpret as a deep-seated pain, and he instantly felt his heart
melting. He heard a voice he only later realized was Sarek's, "His
name is Spock."
THE REUNION by Anna Parrish
"Are you all right?" a young voice asked at my side. I whirled,
scared. Our eyes locked together and my terror vanished. The
unspoken communication, the unstated but equal acceptance between
myself and the Vulcan boy was instantaneous. How could I fear anyone
with such soft, gentle eyes? "Hi," I said in relief. "I'm Jimmy." "I
am called Spock." I grinned in pleasure. Taking a couple of steps
closer, I told him, "I'm almost six."
FIRE HEARTS a novelette by J.S.
Cavalcante
"T'Kahri's status as my betrothed, even as my bondmate in future,
should have no effect on my friendship with you or my life aboard
the ENTERPRISE." "But she'll have one thing with you that I can
never have." Kirk looked down into his empty glass, suddenly shocked
at himself for saying those words. "There is nothing I would give to
her that I would not give to you," the Vulcan declared heatedly.
"Nothing!" "You'll give her a child if you can," he whispered.
"You'll make love to her." "Is it that you envy her?" Spock
whispered, his gaze fastened to the shadowed human face.

ANSWERS by J.S.
Cavalcante
I hear the High Master's words again in my mind. //Spokh, if thee
would aspire to the kolinahr, thee must first understand what it is
to be a kolinahru. Sfarak approaches his Time. You are chosen to
serve him.// My stomach clenches. What I once denied, I now yearn
for. //Jim, where are you?//
HITCHED
by Mildred Manhill
James T. Kirk lay back and closed his eyes as he tried to drift off
to sleep. He was tired, it had been a long and busy day, but the
bombshell his old friend had dropped on him earlier made slumber
almost impossible. So McCoy was getting married. And to a male!
SATISFACTION
GUARANTEED by Pandora
"Ball'loi's Sex Appliances For All Aliens", the sign proclaimed.
McCoy stepped up to the window and peered inside. That looked
like... he rubbed his nose against the window's smooth surface once
more. It certainly did look like... no, couldn't be. Impossible! But
it was Spock who stood at the counter under a sign which read,
"Goods For Display Only - Order Your Fetish Here".
WIND CHIMES by
Anna Parrish
"You know how I know you love me?" Kirk asked. "I cook for you,"
came Spock's reply. Kirk laughed. "No, it's because you go along
with my silly fantasies." "They are not silly." "Not even the one
where you're the naughty Vulcan commander and I have to spank you?"
"I... I rather like it," Spock admitted in a small voice.
A PLACE TO CALL
HOME by Chris Hoch
Kirk could feel the slight tremor in Spock's hand. He reached up and
took it in his own. "You're trembling. Are you cold?" "No, Jim. I am
not cold." He leaned forward and placed a feather-soft kiss on Jim's
lips. "Spock -- " "No, don't." Spock laid his finger over Jim's
lips. "I shouldn't have done that. I ask forgiveness."
A TWIST IN THE
LOGIC by Alice Hooker
Spock woke and something felt wrong. In the gloom it was hard to
tell, but seemingly while he had slept he had gained muscle, and not
inconsiderable muscle. And he colored slightly... was it mere
imagination? His still semi-erect cock felt heavier, longer. Later,
a swift, concise analysis at the lab told him his suspicions were
confirmed. Someone had decided to play a practical joke, for his
fruit drink contained faint traces of the Venus drug.

through the link. Something was wrong with Spock!
