but for its fantastic price, the Bi-Plane offers
great fun for any RC plane fan.
Ready assembled, its EPP foam body is very
lightweight, weighing just 20 grams,
yet is surprisingly durable ; ideal if you have
the odd crash when you're starting out.
The Bi-Plane has a built-in flight battery that
charges directly from the controller in as
little as 20 minutes.
This gives you around 10-12 minutes
of flight time ; a longer play time than you'll
get from any comparable model.
The plane can be used indoors or outdoors,
although you should avoid using it in strong
winds – otherwise it could end up flying
further than you'd planned...
To launch the Bi-Plane, set the throttle lever
(left lever on the control unit) to minimum,
the control lever to neutral and position it to
be hand launched in a straight line.
Increase the throttle to medium, then throw
the plane horizontally launched directly into
wind, increasing the throttle to maximum to
control its ascent.
Once the Bi-Plane is flying steadily,
you can turn it to the left and right and move
it up and down. To stop, simply reduce the
throttle back to minimum.
You can even adjust the Bi-Plane as you
become more used to flying it by trimming
the elevator and rudder (diagram included)
and adding the three-piece aluminium
sticker included.
Practise quick launches, accurate landings
and flight paths... this is a toy you'll come
back to time and time again.
